Introducing our Facilitator, Glenda Grummet
With qualifications in early childhood and special education, Glenda has worked in kindergartens and early childhood settings for more than 20 years. Prior to commencing as the Victorian facilitator with KidsMatter Early Childhood, Glenda worked with the Department of Human Services: Specialist Children’s services as an educational advisor, working with children and families who have a wide range of disabilities and delayed development; and in disability client services as team leader, managing a range of services and program areas such as intake and response, Home First program and Individualised Support Packages. In addition Glenda has worked as a sessional teacher and assessor in early childhood services, family day care and out of school hours courses at certificate and diploma levels for a number of TAFE settings across Melbourne. Glenda has a passion for building children’s social emotional learning, guiding behaviour positively and encouraging staff and colleagues in their support of children’s mental health and well-being.
