KidsMatter - Australian Primary Schools Health Initiative

KidsMatter Primary has been funded by the Australian Government until June 2012 and is now moving to rollout KidsMatter to more primary schools across Australia.  The expansion of KidsMatter Primary will take place in stages and will be largely focused on a small number of geographical regions within each State and Territory initially.

KidsMatter Primary is working in partnership with both education and health systems to identify the regions/diocese where implemention will begin and to provide schools with the support required to formally implement the initiative.  There is an expectation that more regions will come on board over the next few years.

Excitingly, new schools have now commenced KidsMatter Primary in Tasmania, South Australia, Western Australia, Northern Territory and Victoria, with the remaining States and Territories planning for early 2010.
