Information and resources
The resources relating to Component 3, Parenting support and education, have been specifically designed by KidsMatter to provide parents, carers and school staff with information and suggestions on how to work together to improve children’s development and mental health.
The Component 3 resources comprise:
- A set of 6 resource packs or key topics containing information, practical applications and resources for helping parents and teachers to work together to support children’s development and mental health.
- Information sheets (found within the resource pack) for parents and carers. These provide a brief introduction to specific topics relating to parenting support and education, and include everyday examples to show how the ideas presented can be applied.
When looking for resources on a particular topic, we recommend that you start with the information sheets. Then, to follow up your interest and find further information and suggestions, you can download the additional resources for the relevant resource pack.
The eleven information sheets are listed in blue in the table below. The black topic headings indicate the relevant resource pack. Click on the information sheet titles to view the full list of resources soon to be available for Parenting support and education.
