I want to provide:

General information, support and education for effective parenting practices

Information, support and education for parenting in specific situations (e.g., parenting children with disabilities, preventing child abuse and maltreatment, separation and divorce, emotional or behavioural difficulties).

When choosing a program to provide parenting support and education, be sure to consider whether the program:

 

 

• has research evidence of effectiveness
• is suitable for your school community – has it been designed for, or demonstrated applicability to,

  special student groups?
• offers or requires further professional learning
