Information and resources
The resources relating to Component 2, Social and emotional learning for students, have been specifically designed by KidsMatter to provide parents, carers, and school staff with an understanding of the kinds of social and emotional skills that can help children’s learning, as well as detailed suggestions for supporting children’s social and emotional learning in everyday situations.
The Component 2 resources comprise:
- A set of six resource packs on key topics, providing information, practical applications and resources for helping children learn social and emotional skills
- Information sheets (found within the resource packs) for parents and carers. These provide a brief introduction to specific topics relating to social and emotional learning, and include everyday examples to show how the ideas can be applied.
When looking for resources on a particular topic, we recommend that you start with the information sheets. Then, to follow up your interest and find further information and suggestions, you can download the additional resources for the relevant resource pack.
