Communication resources
Regular contact and communication with parents and carers can help them to feel welcome, as well as foster a positive relationship and partnership with them. Communication with parents and carers can take on many forms. The links below provide access to some templates and ideas to assist schools to communicate with parents, carers and children during transition.
These resources are examples of how schools may like to communicate with the families in their school community. They may provide a starting point for generating similar tools that are appropriate for individual schools.
