Working through professional learning topics within a KidsMatter component can be supported by conducting surveys within your community.

Conducting them before you begin can help make decisions about where to focus your learning and KidsMatter actions.

Taking a survey after the learning might assist in measuring the outcomes of your actions and guide future directions. If doing this remember that sometimes we don't know what we don't knowe and to take this into account because by engaging in the learning understandings can shift or deepen and influence survey ratings given. Have a chat with your facilitator if you think this has been the case.

The survey collation tools are available to record survey results for comparisons into the future too.
