KidsMatter helps ECEC services and schools think about mental health within their community. For health and community professionals this means:

  • Working with KidsMatter ECEC services and schools is easier as you are more likely to have shared understanding about children’s needs and ways to support them together.

  • KidsMatter ECEC services and schools have a commitment to promoting mental health. Part of their journey involves looking at internal processes and pathways to assist them making appropriate and timely referrals.

  • Access to a range of freely available resources on the website you can use in your day to day work with families and other professionals.

  • Regular KidsMatter newsletters for families, ECEC services and schools to support your work with them. You can also sign up for our enewsletter for Health and Community professionals

  • KidsMatter is also on social media. We have a Facebook page for families, ECEC staff and primary school staff, and a Twitter feed which gives families, services, schools and you a range of options for staying connected and reaching KidsMatter resources.

  • Opportunities to work with state and territory staff to explore ways to support KidsMatter ECEC services and schools and arrange to attend events.
